Steven was born Jan. 18, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward K. Evans and Lauretta M.

Adkins Evans. He attended Brescia University and was a self-employed computer tech. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Owensboro. Stevie was a lover of music and enjoyed playing his guitars and composing his latest tunes. His other passion was fishing, especially with his special friends, Ms.

Bonnie Fuchs and Mr. Frank Amaya. Along with his parents, Stevie was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Sabrina Whitehouse Evans; his brother-in-law, R. Joe Marcum; and two nephews, Randy Joe Marcum and Justin Dwayne Lambert. Survivors include his son, Steven Evans; two daughters, Lisa Ann Evans and Jenna Diane (Jeff) Johnson; five siblings, Edward K.

Evans, Jacqueline (Bruce) Lee, Cathie (Stanley) Lambert, Teresa Marcum, and Michael H. Evans; nieces, Melissa (Brian) Merrill, Amanda (John) Brooks, Catrinia (Lucas) Lambert, and Luciana Evans; and nephews, Dean Elliott (Lisa) Hope, Scott (Mailin) Marcum, Michael E. (Jessica) Evans, and Tyler (Kelly) Evans. Stevie will be buried in Muhlenberg County after cremation. A private graveside service will be held and extended family and friends will be notified when the service is scheduled.

12, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1940, in Owensboro to the late Delbert and Effie Smith Hall. Richard retired from Premium Allied Tool where he served many years as a tool and die maker. He was a proud Navy veteran and served his country on the U.S.S.

Saratoga. Richard was a firefighter in the Navy and a volunteer for the Pleasant Ridge Fire Department. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and dune buggy, as well as camping, fishing, and visiting with friends and family. Richard was best described as honest, loyal, and a great listener. He could fix anything and loved his family dearly.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Ellen Hall. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Oletta Kay Hall; his children, Amanda Hall (Joe Ward), Tabatha Hall, Carolyn (Robert) Naegele, and Steve (Shelly) Smith; his sister, Mary Jane (David) Goodman; his grandchildren, Dakota Baird, Terrell (Darlene) Crapps, Victoria (Josh) Ard, Sadie Hill, Alex Naegele, and Jennifer (Kayleigh) Taylor; five great-grandchildren; and his nephew, Jimmy (Kim) Heep, and their children, Skyler Heep and Keeley Robertson. The memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 18, 2023, at Masonville United Methodist Church.

glenncares.com. Phyllis Jean Belcher Howard Phyllis Jean Belcher Howard, 83, formerly of 2232 Twenty Grand Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 8, 2023, at Wellington Parc. She was born June 21, 1939, in Daviess County to the late Clifford A. and Lillie Mae Belcher.

Phyllis was the owner and operator of Halo Wig Shop for 50 years. She donated many wigs to Opryhouse and the Theater Workshop of Owensboro and loved styling them and doing makeup. She was very family-oriented, was never at a loss for words, and was a person who never met a stranger. Phyllis was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marion Howard, May 7, 2020; three sisters, Thelma Mae Murphy, Ettie Lorene Hardy, and Opal D. Brown; and a brother, James Clifford Belcher.

Surviving are three daughters, Jeanne Marie Hill and husband, Philip, and Jodi Elizabeth Aull and husband, all of Owensboro, and Johnna Patti McLevaine of Livermore; two sons, William Marion Howard of Owensboro and Perry Steven Howard and wife, Kathy, of Livermore; eight grandchildren, Derric Smith, Tara Dumser, Serenity Faith McLevaine, Denali Hope McLe- vaine-Johnson, Kaela Jo Howard, Addysen Grace Howard, Avery Dane Aull, and Diva Lathan Cline; six great-grandchildren, Jayden Embry, Aiden Dumser, Howie Dumser, JaMyrah Marie Johnson, Acacya Cline, and Ace Cline; and two brothers, Randall Belcher and wife, Elizabeth, and Gerald H. Belcher and wife, Ruth, all of Owensboro. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Mar. 17, 2023, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.

Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Marilyn Sue Smith was born July 20, 1958, in Livermore to the late Jimmy Harrel and Ora Lee Garst Smith and was married to Danny Joe Huckleberry Mar.

1, 1990. Marilyn was a homemaker and a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, mowing her yard, and caring for her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Joe Huckleberry; a son, Dwayne Case (Julie) of Livermore; two daughters, Tiffany Cline (Christopher) and Tenika Humphrey, both of Livermore; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Ora Lee Smith, Joyce Burks (Ricky), Carolyn Smith, and Angie Bray (Orville), all of Livermore. 16, 1934, in Daviess County to the late Murray Kelly and Elizabeth Grimsley Kelly. He was married to the late Sybil Sherman Kelly of Harlan, who died May 28, 2016. Tom was a survey engineer and retired from the State of Kentucky Highway Department. He was a member of Sorgho Baptist Church. Tom was a lifelong resident of Stanley.

He was an avid sportsman and true outdoorsman who loved the country, nature, and hunting wildlife of all kinds, especially ducks. He was a pro at calling ducks. The ducks would get so close you could see their eyes because of duck call. Was that because he was great at it or was it because he was so frugal that he want to waste one shot? In addition to his parents and his wife, Sybil, he was also preceded in death by twin sons, who died at birth. Tom leaves behind his sister-in-law, Juanita Slusher; nieces and nephews; as well as close cousins, Tony and Janet Kelly; and his most special hunting friend, Frank Miller.

Stella May Stiles GREENVILLE Stella May Stiles, 79, of Greenville, died Monday, Mar. 13, 2023, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She retired in 2013 from DASO Department of Defense in Columbus, Ohio where she worked in cyber security. Survivors: sons, Dr. Todd (Laura) Stiles, Mark Stiles, and Scott (Evelyn) Stiles; daughter, Misty (Dan) Deana; and brother, James Hottle.

11, 2023, at her home in Utica. Regina Ann Hudson was born Apr. 29, 1945, in McLean County to the late Charles and Alma Belle Ruby Hudson, was married to Donald Earl Vanover Dec. 4, 1965, and was better known as to her family and friends. Jeanie retired from Pinkerton in Owensboro.

She enjoyed making floral arrangements, being outdoors, and caring for her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donnie Vanover, who died Dec. 14, 2002. Survivors include two sons, Donald Vanover and Troy Vanover, both of Utica; five grandchildren, Kody Vanover, Logan Vanover, Jena Vanover, Morgan Vanover, and Travis Stewart; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Hudson of Apopka, Florida; and two sisters, Terry Shocklee and Cheryl Stinogle, both of Livermore. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
