Outstanding wrestling coaching staff and team, and athletic director, as well as some passionate educators. This school is the only one offering this necessary community college format in Mass an fills what would otherwise be a massive and deleterious gap in the Massachusetts higher education system. I moved from Florida to attend here! Professor Staggers was useless, took over a month to reply while I was taking her class because she was busy writing her book. As a result I wasn't able to do the honors-add on for her class which was part of her contractual agreement as a professor. The financial aid department was clown shoes for years. However, those people no longer work at the college and things have gotten better! The campus has a really nice industrial look and they relandscaped outside recently! Overall, highly recommend. It's a shame they refuse to offer scholarships or just in-state tuition in line with the right to travel to commuters or even those who've been attending 1+yr

My time at STCC has been both enriching and transformative, and I would like to highlight some of the key aspects that have contributed to my positive experience.
First and foremost, the academic environment at STCC is outstanding. The faculty members are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply committed to student success. They have consistently gone above and beyond to provide support, whether through engaging lectures, one-on-one tutoring sessions, or offering practical advice about career paths and further education opportunities. Their dedication has significantly enhanced my learning experience and has been a major factor in my academic achievements.

Springfield Technical Community College is located in a strategic area in the city. There are small shops, restaurants and gas station approximately a walking distance from the school. Springfield is an emerging city, the cost of living and housing is much affordable compare to the high cost of housing and living in the city of Boston and other towns in Massachusetts.
